Steven Dentali, PhD, chief science officer, American Herbal Products Association (AHPA), Silver Spring, MD, has been appointed to a U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) advisory panel, formed to recommend toxicologically-based limits for metals and draft a new General Chapter on Heavy Metals for the USP-National Formulary.
